Pediatric Physical Therapist

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Strive Pediatrics. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for our patients as well as their families by developing personalized treatment plans and providing hands-on therapy.

  • Strive Pediatrics is dedicated to pediatric therapy, craniosacral fascial therapy (CFT), infant massage, age appropriate gross motor development and wellness, focusing on newborns to ten-year-olds. Our hallmark is delivering top-tier, individualized care to each family. As an out-of-network private practice, we offer in-person sessions at our East Round Rock clinic and in the homes of those residing in Austin, TX, and nearby communities.

    Every child deserves not just care but the opportunity to flourish. As we fulfill this vision, we seek an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. This professional will establish profound connections with patients and their families, convey therapy goals and progress, and ensure families are well-informed and comfortable at every stage.

    • PT Role: Evaluate, develop individualized treatment plans, implement treatment plans, educate patients and their families, monitor patient progress, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records/documentation.

    • Patient-Focused Care: Craft and execute tailored therapy plans based on in-depth evaluations, always putting the child's needs at the forefront.

    • Achieve Clinical Outcomes: Within the limits of what is clinically reasonable, achieve desired outcomes outlined in the plan of care. We deliver results for our families.

    • Administrative Excellence: Integrate with our team of industry-leading pediatric specialists and administrative staff, ensuring timely email correspondence, accurate documentation, and follow-through with appointment scheduling.

    • Community Outreach: Participate in community events, social media, or workshops, championing the values and mission of Strive Pediatrics to a broader audience.

    • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians, occupational therapists, or speech therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to the child's well-being.

    • Hybrid Treatment Model: Treat in-home at patient locations or on-site at our East Round Rock location.

    • Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

    • Valid state of Texas Physical Therapy License

    • 1+ Years Experience in Pediatric setting

    • A passion for patient-centric pediatric care, coupled with proven expertise

    • Adaptability to operate in-home and in-office care environments

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a bond of trust with both patients and families

    • Embraces a growth mindset: the conviction that talents can be nurtured through perseverance, effort, and feedback

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a growing team

    • Commitment to ongoing education, staying abreast of the latest in pediatric physical therapy and evidence-based care.

    • 8+ Years Experience in Pediatric Setting,

    • Advanced certifications include APTA Board Certified Pediatric Specialist (PCS),Total Motion Release (TMR), CFT, Total Motion Release (TMR), NMES training, DMI Certified, MNRI Reflex Integration, etc.
